Save Your Home Review by Amazon Reviewer Grady Harp

Hope For Homeowners; Meet Constantine

Constantine did not buy above his means nor was he ever a sub prime loan borrower. This housing crisis has been portrayed to be the fault of irresponsible homeowners, but for the most part this portrayal is wrong. Hardships have fallen upon millions of people, companies, cities, states and complete industries. Whoever can’t see this, must be hiding under a rock, as so many people have fallen victim to the crisis at hand. It can happen to anyone.

Principal Reduction Alternative Program

More than 100 HAMP SM-participating servicers are required to evaluate homeowners for principal reduction. Participating servicers are required to develop written standards for PRA application. The largest servicers include Bank of America, CitiMortgage, JP Morgan Chase, and Wells Fargo.

HAMP: NPV Reformed Rules for Consumers

On February 1, 2011 HAMP servicers will being to implement the changes brought into existence by Section 1482(a) and (b) of the Dodd-Frank Act also known as the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

This act will bring some much needed reform to the current processing fiasco that homeowners that are being denied due to NPV are going through.

10 Strategies for Developing Higher Emotional Resilience

found this article and it was so great I wanted to share it with you. There are many faculties that need to be developed before you are able to effectively handle difficult situations, if not developed this process could leave you feeling frustrated, helpless and defeated in a time when you MUST be strong, determined and confident. Facing foreclosure head on can be one of the most difficult things you will ever go though but when you develop certain traits you can discover inner strengths you never knew you had. In this time, more than ever you must take action, fear often paralyzes homeowners. Developing more EMOTIONAL RESILIENCE is key to being your own best advocate in life and also when fighting to SAVE YOUR HOME.

30 Qualities for Success

To be successful with your HAMP loan modification and in all aspects of life it takes many factors here are 30 from one of my favorite motivational people Zig Ziglar, try it for 30 days while you go through this loan modification process, it will make this process less frustrating as you push forward to stop foreclosure through a successful loan modification and save you home.

Go ahead now.
Look yourself in the mirror
and claim these qualities!
Do it for several weeks
and you’ll notice a change in your life.

Hope For Homeowners: Houston, We Have a Problem With HAMP Loan Modifications

Fast forward a week and Francia is frightened when a realtor for Fannie Mae knocked on her door and advised her that Fannie Mae now owned her home and she would need to move out in two weeks. Could you imagine the devastation and all of the feelings that must have gone through her mind when she was given this news. She immediately got on the phone and called Bank of America who apologized but let her know there was nothing that could be done because the house was foreclosed and their hands were tied.

More Unemployment Equals More Foreclosures: Being Prepared Can Save Your Home

On May 11, 2010 the guidelines for the use of unemployment income changed and a new program was added The Home Affordable Unemployment Program (or UP). There have been a couple of dates since then as well. One of them being that as of August 1, 2010 unemployment benefits will only be considered for the UP program and not for HAMP applications after that effective date. The Home Affordable Unemployment Program (UP) offers eligible borrowers a forbearance plan to temporarily reduce or suspend their mortgage payments.

Hope for Homeowners Loan Modification Stories of Inspiration; Meet Wadet

Wadet is a single mother of 3 beautiful girls. When Wadet purchased her home during the housing boom she was full of pride and joy for becoming a first time homebuyer. She didn’t buy more than she could afford at the time. Wadet knew about being a wife, being a mother and working hard and she trusted the professionals to guide her through the loan process she didn’t necessarily understand how it all worked and what type of loan she was getting. I know we all have to be responsible for our actions and for what we take on but these people thought they understood and they were convinced that they were getting certain terms, they trusted the professionals, to their own fault.

While We Are On the Subject of Bad Foreclosures, What About HAMP’s Compliance?

Treasury Department has said they will “look into these troubling developments” they can stop turning a blind eye to those “troubling developments” and the non-compliance of the HAMP Home Affordable Modification Program.
